West Coast Ocean Alliance-Oregon Sea Grant Fellowship
Due September 22, 2025
The West Coast Ocean Alliance will support a second cohort of the West Coast Ocean Alliance Fellowship Program in partnership with Oregon Sea Grant, placing up to five fellows to support Alliance regional priority needs in collaboration with member governments. The fellowship program allows for increased capacity to support Alliance project activities and working groups while also strengthening links to member entities through project collaboration and mentorship.

Oregon Sea Grant uses eSeaGrant, an online system for submitting fellowship applications. In order to access this system, you must email eseagrant@oregonstate.edu declaring your intent to apply at least one week prior to the application deadline.
The Oregon Sea Grant Scholars Program remains focused on broadening participation, with the intention of being inclusive of all interested and eligible applicants from various backgrounds with unique lived experiences, skills and interests; including applicants that may have had fewer opportunities in the marine policy field.
Applicants can find additional resources and support materials on the ORSG Application Resources page.
Please contact: Stephanie Ichien or Sarah Kolesar with any questions.

We will host an ORSG Fellowship Q&A session on the WCOA fellowship for potential applicants on September 9 at 1PM (Pacific).
Registrants should review the Fellowship Request for Applications and Position Descriptions before the Q&A session–there is no planned presentation, with the full time dedicated to questions. If you are unable to make this time, please reach out to Stephanie Ichien.
